I spent many years in sales and marketing in what my mother called my 'proper' job. Then I got tired of sitting in a metal box on a strip of tarmac, left my employment and spent a year training as a reflexologist. I chose reflexology because I had always been interested in complementary therapies and because reflexology has much credibility and is fairly well known and accepted. I thought it would be easier to make a living as a reflexologist than studying a more obscure therapy. I then trained to be a Reiki healer and finally a Reiki Master and add this extra dimension to my reflexology treatments.
I love to garden. We moved house a year ago and I have had to create a new garden from scratch which has been a challenge. The soil was so awful I marked out the beds, had the clay and limestone taken away and new top soil put in. Marvellous............We now live in Carlby, a village near to Stamford, and I love it here.
We have a Munsterlander called Echo who is 13 years old. She is like all her breed - beautiful, talks a lot and always has the last word.We have two grandchildren. James is 11 and is a wizz at all things technical. Emily is eight and loves shoes.
